What Amili keeps about you, where it lives, who reads it, and how to make it go away. Last updated 28 September 2026.

Amili is in a small private beta. It is built and run by one person, Paulo de Vries, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, who is responsible for your data. Questions or requests: hello@amili.ai.

The short version

• Amili keeps what you tell it so it can answer and remember. Nothing else.
• No ads, no selling, no tracking cookies, no data brokers.
• Your things are never pooled with anyone else's.
• During the beta, your thoughts are read and answered by Paulo and his AI assistant. That is how Amili answers you right now, and you should know it.
• Write to hello@amili.ai and everything is deleted within 30 days.

On this website (amili.ai)

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address, the date, your country (from your connection, not your address) and which of our own links brought you, if any. We use it to send you one email when your place opens. Nothing more.

Page visits are counted without cookies and without any identifier: we store only the page, the site you came from and the day. We cannot tell who you are from it.

In the app

The app currently lives at taskpeace.com/amili. When you use it we keep:

• Your account: the name, email address and account id from Google or GitHub when you sign in. We never see your password.
• What you tell Amili: your thoughts, the answers, your to-dos and anything Amili notes to remember about you. Kept until you delete them.
• Photos and files you add: stored privately. Only you can open them through the app.
• Voice: when you dictate, the recording is turned into text by a speech model running at Cloudflare. The recording is kept for 24 hours so a bad transcript can be redone, then deleted automatically.
• Notifications: if you allow them, we keep the push address your browser gives us. The notification passes through your browser maker's push service (for example Apple or Google).
• Settings such as your language and how short Amili's answers should be.

Who reads your thoughts

In the beta, Amili's answers come from Paulo and from AI agents he runs on his own computer, using Claude, a model made by Anthropic. To answer you, they read your thought and what Amili remembers about you. Inside that tool you appear under a coded label, not your name, and every read and answer is logged. Anthropic processes that text to produce the answer, under its own terms and privacy policy.

Nobody else reads your things. We do not give or sell them to anyone.

Where it is stored

With the companies that run the service for us: Cloudflare (hosting, database, files, speech-to-text) and Upstash (database). Some of them may process data outside the EU, under their data processing terms with us.

Cookies

The app sets one sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in for 30 days, and two short ones (10 minutes) while you sign in. Your browser also keeps some app settings on your own device. No analytics or advertising cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything we have about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw from the beta at any time. Email hello@amili.ai from the address you signed in with; we answer within 30 days. A page in the app where you can see and delete it all yourself is coming. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Why we are allowed to use it

To give you the service you asked for (your account, your thoughts, your answers), and with your consent for the waitlist and notifications, which you can withdraw at any time.

If this page changes in a way that matters, we tell you in the app before it applies.
