Is there an open model as good as Opus available for free on a Mac?

Currently, there isn't an open model as good as Opus available for free. The strongest open models require hundreds of GB of memory or rented GPU's, which can be costly. A possible solution is to use Opus or Claude for judgment and writing, and a small open model on the Mac for simple repetitive tasks.
